COMPANY HISTORY:

UNITED LASER was originally founded by  Eduardo Capriles,   inspired by  the famous LASERIUM Planetariun Shows  and  VARI*LITE Automated Lighting, back in the day when a prototype of a moving yoke light was presented to Phill Collins and Peter Gabriel from the band Genesis, the band invested in the product and kept the patent for the technology for nearly  20 years,

  Eduardo Capriles followed closely Vari*lite developments knowing that motorized pan and tilt lighting was the way of the future in Concert Lighting ,and he decided to built his own prototype of lighting fixture with the exception t hat he used coherent light, and vector scanning , creating a product similar to what is now commercially known as the Emulator and then he decitded to create his own experimental  Laser Projection systems. After finishing studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville, he moved to Miami where he  started working with High End Home Theater Installations and   repairing and performing maintenance on ION gas lasers for XEROX and Deltana Technologies, using an ION pump and clean room environment,  performing  specialized  techniques for  refurbishing  Argon and Krypton tubes with beryllium-oxide cores.   Once he was familiarized with lasers and Electro-optics technology, he started developing artistic laser applications, originally  started performing Laser demonstrations  for private audiences in a scientific laboratory transformed into showroom , and then for  larger and larger audiences  as a Live performer or Laserist for  Corporate  events,  Rock Concerts  and  World Class Night Clubs,  soon after  he was in demand for performing in various shows that took him to travel all around the world.  He worked in collaboration with  with Barry Ward  from Laser Dimensions and Bob Ash from New Method Lasers and later  collaborated with  Tom Harman and Horacio Pugliese from Lasernet programming and installing various shows, he also collaborated with Jery Wyant from Laser Media and Alex Hey from Laser Fantasy International,  Coy Comart  from International Laser and Light and he also team up  with Talented Lighting Designers Peter More from Light Speed Productions, Mike Mc. Millan and Ross Berger,. He then formed a production team of talented Artists, Technicians, and celebrity  DJ's such as Abel Aguilera, Junior Vasquez, Peter Rouhofer, Lazaro Leon,  DJ Luis Puig owner of Club Space and David Padilla who started a music revolution at The Warsaw Ball Room in South Beach. The Company was instrumental in the Production of ICON 1235, a highly successful weekly event in South Beach while he was working for the recording Artist Prince. The Company  produced several projects in New York such as Club Mirage, Limelite, and other Trendy Night Spots,  in the late  80's Eduardo was commissioned  to design and program  a high Power Laser Show  System in what is now is known as MANSION,  a  famous Large Art Deco Building of Historical Value in the heart of South Beach,

  and the show brought him artistic exposure and recognition,  then he started to get  busy with  ever larger  projects.  These shows captured the attention of several event promoters, executive producers and Lighting designers.  Eduardo incorporated the Company in 1987, and then  he was  asked to help design various large   projects in collaboration with LASERNET.   Since 1987,  the Company has been working with the leaders of the Entertainment Industry in various productions including projects for   UNIVERSAL STUDIOS,  ROYAL CARIBBEAN INTERNATIONAL and CELEBRITY CRUISE LINES, and  the Company has performed work for  some of the trendiest Night Clubs  around  the world.   The Company was involved in the Production  of spectacular and highly successful shows  for Producer Mark Baker and Jeffrey Sanker to name a few, and was one of the original Laser Show Companies used in Large  Outdoor Electronic Music Festivals such Lalapoluza, Zen, Time, and Ultra.

 In 1997 the Company introduced into commerce THE COSMIC RAY series Laser Projection system., a practical design that  became the ideal solution  for   high  precision,  mirror bouncing laser architecture designs, with minimal electronic drifting .   The Company is currently marketing advanced diode pumped solid state laser projectors and   recently started   to incorporate  and market  modular LED Video Screens in coolaboration with Michael Greenberg from Barco Visualization Solutions,   creating a new landscape for the display of  High Definition Video Images.  The future is bright for  Diode Pumped Solid State Lasers , OPSL  Lasers and Large LED video display systems,  nowadays,  the Technology available is  incredibly powerful  largely due  to  its  optical efficiency,  compact size and adaptability,  thus  reducing considerably the amount of time and effort required to produced  a great show .
